Description:
Tenders are invited for Consultant to Conduct a Detailed Examination of The Feasibility Study of The Project "support of The Potential of Irrigated Agriculture in The Republic of Tajikistan". The project "Support of the potential of irrigated agriculture in the Republic of Tajikistan" is focused on the following components: Component 1. Replacement of pumping and power units: Replacement of pumping and power units in the cascade pumping stations STS-1 and STS-2 of the Zafarabad district with modern pumping and power plants that will use less electricity and provide the required volume of water for 34,341 hectares. Component 2. Creation of mobile mechanized columns and reconstruction of motor depots: creation of 4 mobile mechanized columns of rapid response melioration and irrigation in the Republic of Tajikistan (on the basis of worn-out motor transport bases of the AMI system) and equipping them with appropriate machines and mechanisms; reconstruction and restoration of 4 motor transport bases providing parking, maintenance and repair of machines and mechanisms in the basin zones of land reclamation and irrigation, in Verkhne-Kafirnigansky in the Dushanbe and Hissar zones, Verkhne-Vakhshsky in the Rasht zone and Nizhne-Vakhshsky in the Bokhtar zone. Component 3. Improving the institutional capacity of the AMI and Project management training of the staff of machine operators, workers of repair workshops and repair and construction teams for the reliable and sustainable operation of hydraulic structures; development of appropriate methods and conducting training to improve the skills of machine operators, workers of repair workshops and repair and construction teams; Project management, which includes the definition of goals and setting tasks, cost calculations and resource mobilization, the distribution of implementation stages and monitoring of Project implementation. Applications received by the Organizer of the competition no later than 10-00 (Moscow time) on July 30, 2021 are allowed to participate in the competition.
