Tenders are invited for Organization of Training on IFRS for Accountants in Selected State-Owned Enterprises of the Republic of Tajikistan within Public Finance Management Modernization (PFMM) Ii Project The Government of Tajikistan has taken steps to modernize its Public Financial Management (PFM) and build capacity to support PFM reforms. The current task under the PFMM II Project aims to support the modernization of the public financial management system in Tajikistan and to train up to 30 accountants of the SOEs, selected by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan (per the list provided in Annex 1 to this TOR). The training will aim to improve accountants` knowledge in IFRS and it will be compliant with the training program of the internationally recognized accounting education service provider. The task will contribute to the improved capacity of the selected SOEs in carrying out accounting and financial reporting functions, and increased quality as well as transparency in the corporate reporting of these entities, which are key for the Republic of Tajikistan.
